1. Who we are

2. What personal information we collect

We collect information you provide directly (when you fill out a contact form, request a quote, sign up for our newsletter, or buy a service), information collected automatically (cookies, analytics, server logs, IP address, browser, device, page visited), and information from third parties (when you sign in via OAuth, link a connected app, or are introduced by a partner).

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to deliver services you have requested, respond to enquiries and quotes, send marketing communications (where you have opted in or where we have a legitimate interest), improve our website and services, comply with legal obligations, and detect and prevent fraud or misuse.

4. Disclosure to third parties

We disclose personal information to: service providers (hosting on AWS Sydney / Azure Sydney, email delivery, payment processors, analytics), professional advisors (lawyers, accountants), and law-enforcement or regulators where required by law. We do not sell personal information to third parties. Where we use overseas service providers, we use providers in jurisdictions that have privacy laws substantially similar to Australia, or we use contractual safeguards.

5. Cross-border data transfers

By default, your data is stored in Australia. Some tooling we use (e.g., Google Workspace, GitHub) may store metadata in the United States or European Union. Where this is the case, we ensure the provider offers contractual privacy protections at least equivalent to the APPs. See our Cookie Policy for the analytics tools we use.

6. Data security

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures: encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest, role-based access controls, audit logs, regular penetration testing, and incident response procedures. No system is impenetrable — if a notifiable data breach occurs, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required.

7. Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, opt out of direct marketing, complain to us about how we have handled your personal information, and (if unresolved) complain to the OAIC at oaic.gov.au. 8. Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to deliver the service you have requested, comply with legal obligations (typically 7 years for tax records), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We delete or de-identify personal information once those purposes are fulfilled.

9. Children

Our services are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available at this URL. Material changes will be notified by email (to subscribers) or by a banner on this site.
